The New Energy Laboratory (NEL) of SCM New Energy Co., Ltd. is located in the SCM Nantong production base in the Economic Development Zone of Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, covering an area of 300m2 and with an investment of nearly 8 million. It was put into use in three phases and has the ability to manufacture and evaluate the performance of buckle batteries and full batteries, analyze and verify battery materials, and provide comprehensive service capabilities for customer solutions.
At present, the laboratory has a number of full-time experimental engineers and is equipped with professional laboratory instruments and equipment. It conducts experiments according to the mainstream processes in the industry (winding and lamination), and has carried out many experimental project services for domestic and foreign material manufacturers, battery companies, and research institutions.
The establishment of SCM New Energy Laboratory is an important measure for SCM's strategic transformation from a "product agency sales company" to a "customer-oriented service company", providing the necessary hardware and technical means to comprehensively improve customer-oriented services; NEL will more effectively cooperate with the promotion and sales of new energy materials in the future, and provide domestic battery customers with targeted product application solutions and technical support, as well as faster technical services and consulting.
