On December 29, 2020, the 9th Members' Meeting of the China Association of Controlled Chemicals was successfully held in Beijing, and the meeting elected the members of the 5th Council. Among the 193 member units, a total of 158 member units and authorized unit representatives attended the meeting. Li Shousheng, President of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, Zhao Zhiping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, Wu Fu, Vice President of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, Li Bin, Vice President of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, and Pang Guanglian, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Secretary-General of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

At the meeting, the China Controlled Chemicals Association held an election for the fifth council. After voting at the ninth general meeting, Pang Guanglian, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and deputy secretary-general of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, and vice chairman of the fourth council of the China Controlled Chemicals Association, was elected as the chairman of the fifth council; Wang Huajian, chairman of Xuzhou Jianping Chemical Co., Ltd., Kong Jianan, vice president of Zhejiang Xin'an Chemical Group Co., Ltd.... Gong Zhanping, general manager of SCM Industrial Chemical Co., Ltd., and Lu Haigen, general manager of Hangzhou China Resources Industrial Co., Ltd., 17 comrades were elected as vice chairmen of the fifth council, and Su Wei, vice chairman of the China Controlled Chemicals Association, was elected as secretary-general of the fifth council.

About China Controlled Chemicals Association

The China Controlled Chemicals Association was established in April 1996 with the approval of the Ministry of Chemical Industry and the Ministry of Civil Affairs. It is a national, industry-based, non-profit social organization voluntarily formed by units, relevant social groups and individuals engaged in the production, scientific research, design, operation, use and management of controlled chemicals.
